Syed Harun : A human chain was held in front of the upazila parishad in front of the sub-jail, in front of the Anti-Corruption Commission and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee organized on 9th December in Sherpur on Saturday, December 9, in front of the anti-corruption day "Let's get united against corruption" on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day-2018. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rubel Mahmud led the human chain. Speaking on the occasion, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Flora Yasmin, President of Anti Corruption Committee Professor Abul Hashem said. It is to be mentioned that most speakers of the upazila's human chain in the upazila said that there is no corruption in most of the upazilas due to the strong leadership of Rubel Mahmud, executive officer of Jhinaigati upazila.
