Harun Or Rashid Dudu : In the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rubel Mahmud in the Upazila Parishad Conference hall room on Monday, February 11, in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur, the monthly law-discipline and sabotage prevention meeting of the upazila was held. Officer-in-Charge of Jhenaigati Police Station (OC) Biplob Kumar Biswas, Upazila Health Officer and Officer-in-Charge Dr. Mohammad Abu Hasan Shaheen, Fire Service Station Officer Abdul Latif, Upazila Jasad President Mizanur Rahman, UP Chairman Mofazzal Hossain Chan and others spoke in the meeting. Official officials, political leaders, UP chairmen, freedom fighters and journalists including civil society representatives were present. Speaking to the Jhenaigati Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Biswas, the speakers said that the law and order situation in the upazila has already been given by the IGP for the progress of the past year.
