Harun Or Rashid Dudu : International Women's Torture Prevention Party and Begum Rokeya Day were celebrated on the occasion of the reception of Joyitta under the program "Joyita exploration Bangladesh" in the Servardi Upazila of Sherpur district. On Sunday, 9 December, a meeting was held in Someswari in the Upazila Parishad conference room with the assistance of the Women Affairs Department and with the help of the upazila administration. Chaired by Upazila Women Affairs Officer Fatematamuzzurra, the discussion was also addressed by Upazila Women's Vice Chairman, Lipi Begum, Municipal Mayor Abu Sayeed, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer. In the meeting, five women were selected as the winners to contribute to different categories, they were given receptions, cries and certificates. They are Minuara Mahmud for the development of society, Hanufa Begum in Education and Jobs, eradicating the women's ablutions, successful mother-in-law Begum and Inner Begum for economic development.
